Brand identity design for Cooper Avenue: a multifaceted deli, bakery, lounge, restaurant, market, and boutique, located on the ground floor of the parking garage for the Frank Gehry-designed New World Art Center, that took up an entire block of 7,500 square feet near Lincoln Road in South Beach.
Inspired by the brand's forward-thinking philosophy that ethical standards will someday be the norm in the fashion business. A modern type-treatment logo with a mark that acts to reference its link to fashion and the universe.
As someone who draws in his sketchbook every single day, it's incredibly satisfying when an opportunity presents itself to bring those doodles to life. A little over a year ago I drew up some geometric shapes, turned them into a vector pattern, and submitted them to Bucketfeet for consideration into their Spring 2015 collection.
In 2007, having never customized shoes before, I started with a few beers, some left-over acrylic and my own barefeet and ugly toes as inspiration.
